submitting a complete and compliant application file minimizes the risk of delays or rejection. To streamline the process and avoid confusion on the day of the interview, meticulously organizing your documents according to the Consular Section’s
guidelines is key to a successful outcome. Below, we outline the essential list of documents required to properly prepare your application file.

Main Required Documents:

  • 1. Embassy application form (Videx) – black & white copy
  • 2. Security declaration – black & white copy
  • 3. Colored copy of passport (all pages with stamps, including Jordan entry stamp)
  • 4. State “Bescheid” – black & white copy
  • 5. Language course booking + Vertrag – black & white copy
  • 6. Blocked account confirmation + account statement – black & white copy
  • 7. One-year health insurance – black & white copy
  • 8. B1 language certificate (original + black & white copy)
  • 9. High school certificate (original + certified translated copy + black & white copy)
  • 10. University graduation certificate (original + certified translated copy + black & white copy)
  • 11. Anabin printout for your university and major – black & white copy
  • 12. “Kartoonah” certificate (original + certified translated copy + black & white copy)
  • 13. Temporary/permanent license (original + certified translated copy + black & white copy)
  • 14. Motivation letter – signed (black & white copy)
  • 15. CV – signed (black & white copy)
  • 16. Hosting documents (hosting form + host passport + host residence permit)
  • 17. Two biometric photos
  • 18. Visa fee: 75 JOD paid at VFS in Al-Baraka Mall (recommended to bring 90–100 JOD)
– All copies must be A4 size
– Do NOT staple documents (use a paper clip 📎 only)
– Any document with stamps/signatures on the back must be copied as-is
– Hosting form: black & white + colored copy of host passport/residence permit

You must bring TWO files:

File 1 (Originals to be checked and returned):

  • 1. High school certificate (original + certified copy + certified translation)
  • 2. Graduation certificate (original + certified copy + certified translation)
  • 3. “Kartoonah” certificate (original + certified copy + certified translation)
  • 4. Temporary license (original + certified copy + certified translation)

Some officers check all documents, others check only selected ones.

File 2 (All black & white copies – this file is kept by the embassy):

  • 1. Application form – signed with interview date.
  • 2. Security declaration – filled and signed at the embassy.
  • 3. Passport copy – colored, each page on a separate A4 sheet (including Jordan entry stamp, signature page, fingerprint page).
  • 4. Bescheid.
  • 5. Language course documents.
  • 6. Bank documents – all black & white (if personal sponsor: original + black & white copy).
  • 7. Electronic language certificate – black & white
  • 8. High school certificate – black & white copy of certified original + translation.
  • 9. Graduation certificate – same as above.
  • 10. Kartoonah certificate – same as above.
  • 11. Temporary license – same as above.
  • 12. Anabin file – black & white printout.
  • 13. Motivation letter – signed with interview date.
  • 14. CV – signed with interview date (colored).
  • 15. Hosting documents – hosting form (black & white) + host passport/residence permit (colored).
  • 16. Health insurance.
  • 17. Two biometric photos.
